ConceptArt.org is a leading online forum frequented by some of the world leaders in the fields of production and concept art. Members of our studio regularly review and contribute to a variety of online resources as a means of keeping in touch with the forefront of the industry. This illustration below was a submission to a challenge held on ConceptArt.org forum. The theme was 'deep space cruiser' and an every day object had to be chosen for design inspiration. In this case an American football was the object with the influence being the compound curves of its surface. As part of the design process thumbnail were initially produced and refined before a single design was settled upon. |
